Osbaldo R. Ramirez

Osbaldo R. Ramirez went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 23, 2013. He was born in Poth, Texas on August 15, 1928 to Antonio and Antonia Ramirez. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Pauline Ramirez; two sons Bernie (Barbara) and Victor (Marisa) Ramirez; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Danyelle, and Ariana Ramirez; and 3 great-grandchildren, Nehemiah, Noah, and Olivia. He is also survived by his brother Abel Ramirez and sister Lydia Reyes, and many nieces and nephews. Osbaldo was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gerardo Sr., Felipe Sr., Antonio Jr., and sisters Rosa Rivera, and Berta Antuna, as well as great grandson Troy Alexander. Osbaldo played baseball in Poth, Texas for the Bluebonnet League in his younger years. He was an avid sports fan, and had a special love for baseball, which he passed along to his sons and grandson. He was an active member of Iglesia Cristiana where he shared his love of music by singing solos as often as possible! His greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Osbaldo will be dearly missed by family and friends. The family would like to say a special thank you to Odyssey Hospice, Las Colinas Nursing and Rehabilitation Home, and Pecan Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation home where he spent his last weeks.
