Oscar Angel Espinoza Leos
Age 17 • Nunn, Colorado
With heavy hearts, we share that Oscar Angel Espinoza Leos, 17, of Nunn, Colorado, went to
be with the Lord on August 20, 2025. He was born on January 6, 2008, in Greeley, Colorado, to
Alejandro Espinoza Cruz and Rosina Leos Plascencia.
Though only 17 years old, Oscar's presence filled every room with warmth and love. Handsome,
kind, and full of life, he carried a heart much bigger than his years. With his striking green eyes
and his gentle spirit, he was his father's pride and joy along with his sister and other older
brother, and one of his mother's greatest blessings. From his father, he learned that hard work
and honesty could build a life worth being proud of - lessons he carried deeply.
Oscar loved his family above all else. Nothing brought him more joy than being by their side. He
also found peace and happiness in the cabalgata, riding and caring for his horse, Bonita, and
working on the ranch with his loved ones. The bond he shared with his family through these
traditions was unbreakable.
Oscar also carried big dreams. On weekends, he dedicated himself to training as a barber at a
local hair salon, a craft he was excited to master. He dreamed of building a future that would
make his family proud, a future filled with love, tradition, and hard work.
He is survived by his mother, Rosina Leos Plascencia; his sister, Joseline (Miguel) Espinoza;
and a large, loving extended family who will forever cherish his memory. He is preceded in
death by his father, Alejandro Espinoza Cruz, and his brother, Carlos Alejandro Espinoza.
Oscar's life, though far too short, was a gift to everyone who knew him. His love, laughter, and
spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to be part of his journey
