Oscar Lee Rountree, 89, of Kennedale, Texas passed away peacefully, January 2, 2024, surrounded by family.
He was born January 31, 1934, in Jacksonville, Florida.
He retired from Tarrant County Water District where he operated heavy equipment. He also was a cross country truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, camping, spending time with family and friends, and sitting in his shop talking and telling jokes.
He was proceeded in death by his brothers, Kenneth Rountree and Arthur Rountree. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Wanda, daughter Sammye Fish and her husband David, son Stan Rountree and his wife, Karen, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, sisters Ava May Walker and Ada Fay Tillery Litchfield, along with many friends and family that loved him very much.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
