Mr. Oscar Tadlock, age 79, a resident of Morton passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. His visitation will be held 12pm-2pm Friday, July 12, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Chapel service will be held 2pm Friday from the Ott & Lee Chapel in Morton. Burial will be followed in Sims Hill Cemetery. Bro. Barron Price and Bro. Nathan Morales will be officating the service.

Mr. Oscar Tadlock, age 79, a resident of Morton passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. His visitation will be held 12pm-2pm Friday, July 12, 2024 at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Morton. Mr. Tadlock was born in Scott County on May 18, 1945. He loved the Lord and was a faithful member of First United Pentecostal Church in Morton. Oscar enjoyed being outdoors working in his garden along with hunting and fishing. He was the Public Works Director, until retired from the City of Morton for many years. Oscar and his wife, Annette loved traveling together. Family meant everything to Oscar, he loved his children and grandchildren with all his heart. He will be greatly missed by all who loved and knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, A.P. Tadlock and Lillian Ester Squires Tadlock; siblings, Eddie Mae Skelton, Neal Tadlock, Lavern Layton, Leon Tadlock, Jewel Risher, Benell Ramsdell, Billy Ray Tadlock and Arthur Tadlock; great grandson, Michael Sawyer Hines.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Annette Huff Tadlock of Morton; daughter, Lisa McCoy and husband, Glen of Pisgah and daughter, Doctor Whitney Allison McCoy(fiancé- Robert Waller, Jr.); son, Billy Tadlock and wife, Beverly of Morton and children, Anna Grace Tadlock, Chance Tadlock and Kristin Hines (Tyler); great grandchildren, Lily and Dorothy; sister, Sarah Ann Franklin; brother, Roger Dale Tadlock and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Rodney Tadlock, Andy Tadlock, Chance Tadlock, Arthur Tadlock, Dale Tadlock and Tyler Hines.
