Devout Catholic, loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather
Oscar Quimbao Tuazon passed away, surrounded by family, on December 20, 2024 at the age of 95. Known as “Tata” by loved ones, Oscar was born in Minalin, Pampanga, Philippines in 1929. He attended Far Eastern University in Manila and received a degree as an Accountant. He then ran his own business as a building contractor. After immigrating to the United States in 1989, he worked as Production Lead at Johnson & Johnson for over 10 years. He was married for over 60 years with Restituta Macalino (1930-2016) and had 10 beautiful children. He later remarried to Annabell Cruz in 2021.
Oscar enjoyed reading, going on walks, keeping up with current politics, studying the Bible and listening to music. He often listened to songs by Nat King Cole, Frank Sinatra, and composures by Andre Rieu. He had a deep love for his family and always ensured each of his children were well cared for. He is known to go above and beyond to help those in need. He would routinely donate to local charities.
Tata was the heart of our family and the pillar of our strength. His absence will be felt deeply, but his spirit will be forever with us.
He is survived by 9 children, 27 grandchildren, and 35 great grandchildren.
