Oscar P. White Jr.

Oscar P. White, Jr. passed away peacefully at The Carpenter House on September 8, 2022, at the age of 84. He was a retired construction supervisor; resident of Plaquemine, former resident of Morgan City and native of Rayville, LA. Oscar was a US Navy Veteran. Visitation will be held at Victory Baptist Church, Plaquemine on Thursday, September 15, 2022, from 9am until religious services at 12pm, conducted by Rev. Garrett Brown. Interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery, Zachary. Oscar is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary White; sons, Robert White and wife Melissa, and Eric White and husband Charles; daughter, Cindy Boudreaux and husband Sam; grandchildren, Dalton and Haiden Parish; stepchildren, Jason Feierabend, Junius Robillard and wife Carrie, and Samuel Robillard and wife Catina; step grandchildren, Jenny Feierabend, Dylan, Dakota, and Conner Robillard, Emily and Samuel, Jr. Robillard; step great grandchild, Brandon Delee; siblings, Ethel White, Archie White, Mary Theriot, Douglas White, Alice Adams; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his daughter, Constance White; parents, Oscar, Sr. and Alice McAdams White; and siblings, David White, Lorraine Jarreau, Jimmy White, Larry White and Gayle White. Oscar was an avid fisherman and LSU fan. He was a devoted member of Victory Baptist Church.
