Obituary published on Legacy.com by Eggers Funeral Home - Boiling Springs on Oct. 30, 2025.
Otis E. Praytor JR. 79 of Inman, South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025. Born on October 16, 1946, in Spartanburg he was the son of the late Otis E. Praytor SR. and Ethel Hicks Praytor.

He was loving husband, father, and grandfather. Otis was a devoted man of faith and a longtime member of Greenpoint Baptist Church, where he faithfully served and lived out his love for the Lord.

Otis was a hardworking man who believed in the value of dedication and integrity. He was also a proud member of the Masonic Lodge of Arcadia, where he held a long and respected membership, something he considered deeply meaningful throughout his life.

Outside of his commitments, Otis enjoyed spending his time fishing and being with the people he loved most, his family. His quiet strength, kind heart, and faith-filled spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be remembered for his devotion to God, his family, and the life he built through hard work and love.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Otis E. Praytor III; a daughter, Carla Praytor; a sister, Lena Martin; and a brother, Donald Praytor.

He is survived by his loving wife, Mildred Praytor; four grandchildren; brothers; Ronnie Praytor, Jackie Praytor, and Charles Praytor; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service to celebrate Otis's life will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, in Good Shepherd Memorial Park, with Rev. David Lancaster officiating.
