Otis V. Ramke Jr.

Otis V. Ramke Jr., of Slidell, Louisiana, passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 80. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 9, 1944, to the late Otis Ramke and Margie Ramke Stiller. He had a career as an architect, which led him to serve as a State of Louisiana Fire Marshall, where he contributed to the safety and well-being of his community. Otis was a long-time parishioner of St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church and an active member of the Northshore Corvette Club.
Otis was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 49 years, Sally Waller Ramke, as well as his parents, stepfather, George Stiller, and stepsister, Linda Mitchell. He is survived by his children, Ann Ramke Berkins (Gilbert), Susan Ramke Streets (Douglas), Laurie Ramke Brown (Ken), Kelly Ramke Lardin (Harvey), and Kara Ramke Clark (David), and grandchildren, Ashleigh Taylor, Matthew Berkins, Christopher Berkins, Reed Streets, Derrick Streets, Nicholas Streets, Lydia Brown, Julia Lardin, Sarah Lardin, Stephen Liberti, and Kayla Liberti.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Monday, November 11, 2024, at St. Luke the Evangelist Catholic Church in Slidell from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Otis will be laid to rest in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery in New Orleans following service.
