To a wonderful family that the Lord gave me a chance to get to know better. Otis and Juanita were obviously great people and parents, simply look at their children. James and Patricia, God has blessed you with a wonderful Father (Mother) and seen him home, rest in that peace.
Love ya both, Patti

My heart and prayers go out to the family and friends at this time. Memories are him playing his guitar, his big smile, open arms and handshakes, nothing but love for all and for God. Thank you God that I had him as my first pastor as a child, what I learned still impacts me today.

I love this picture -- it captures his friendly, warm smile, which I will miss. He was a sweet, gentle man of God, and I'm thankful he's HOME! May God's comfort be with you and His hope give you assurance of your Dad's presence with the Lord.

I have many memories of the Smith's serving along with my father, Rev. C.B. Collver, in the East Michigan Conference. The Smiths' were faithful, caring, and very kind to all. May the great memories of your father sustain you in the coming days.
