Ricky Bradshaw, 70, of Waco passed away Friday, December 19, 2025. Visitation and viewing will be Friday, December 26, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm at Waco Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday, December 27, 2025 at 10am at the funeral home with interment to follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Ricky Lee Bradshaw was born on July 1, 1955 to Cash and Zelma Bradshaw, Jr. Ricky was the third of seven children. Growing up, Ricky was a member of Edwards Chapel AME church in Waco, TX.
When Ricky was a young boy, he suffered an accident that would change his life forever, however, it did not stop him from graduating from LaVega High School in the 1970’s.
Throughout his life, Ricky kept his love of music. He enjoyed watching movies and football on his television. He was an avid Dallas Cowboy fan often wearing his Cowboy hats and jerseys.
After years of being away, his baby brother, Cass, returned to Waco and made it his mission to locate Ricky. On each visit Ricky had a smile on his face and excitement in his eyes to see the brother he used to beat up. Many of their visits involved watching their favorite team play football and eating a homemade meal. Ricky knew he was loved and cared about even on the last visit, his last day. Father God had a plan.
Ricky was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Bert, Charles, Chriss, and Eric. He is survived by his siblings, Barbara Wright (Eric), and Cass Bradshaw (Patricia) along with a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.
