Owen Kay Ashbaker

We were shocked and saddened to hear that Owen passed away. Due to being out town, we unfortunately missed services for him, but wanted to leave a message in honor of his life. Owen was one of the most gentle, compassionate, and service oriented people you could find! His calm demeanor let you know that he was someone who could be trusted and turned to. My husband and I were fortunate to have him, with Betty as his companion, serve as our home teachers for several year. We always looked forward to their visits, knowing that uplifting and enlightening conversation would come. Owen was a light of faith, and we feel fortunate to have had him brighten our path. Our sympathy to the wonderful Ashbaker family. I hope you have felt the prayers going your way, not only from us, but from our children who you have touched in our journey.
