August 7, 2025 – November 8, 2025
Our precious baby boy, Owen Bennett Crapps, affectionately known as Fat Man and Monkey, passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 8, 2025, at three months old.
Owen was born on August 7, 2025, to his loving parents Christina Ann and Jake Crapps both of Baxley. Though his time on Earth was short, he brought immeasurable joy, laughter, and love to everyone who knew him.
Owen was a happy baby who loved to eat every two to two-and-a-half hours and had just started rolling from front to back in October. On November 1st, he gifted his family with his very first smiles—smiles that will forever be remembered and cherished.
He was the eighth child in a family overflowing with love, surrounded by his adoring siblings Kameron, Ford, Easton, Bryson, Keegan, Grace, and Lilibet. Each one of them took turns loving on him, kissing him, and protecting their baby brother, especially Easton, who loved him so dearly.
Owen was preceded in death by his Uncle Robby Jerome Crapps Jr., Great Uncle DJ Everett, and Great Aunt Betty Jean Giddens.
He is survived by his devoted parents, brothers and sisters, and family who will forever carry his light in their hearts.
Mommy and Daddy love you more than all the stars in the sky, sweet boy. We will forever be waiting for the day we can hold you again and hear your precious laughter. Until then, our hearts remain incomplete—only half of who we are—until we meet again.
“An angel in the book of life wrote down my baby’s birth, and whispered as she closed the book, ‘Too beautiful for Earth.’”
The family will hold a private ceremony and kindly asks for time and space as they grieve this unimaginable loss.
Low Country Cremation & Burial is honored to serve the Crapps family.
