Ozella was born on January 4, 1934, the daughter of James Washington Workman and Rhoda Lampkin Workman in McAlester, Oklahoma.
Ozella met the love of her life as a teenager in the 1950s. She married Freddie Rodgers on December 19, 1953 in McAlester, Oklahoma. Together, they had two daughters, Rita and Judy.
Ozella was a daddy's girl until she married. She became a wonderful homemaker, who loved her family so much. She enjoyed traveling, gardening, canning vegetables and making preserves. She was a hard working woman who took pride in her family. One of her favorite things to do was to spend time with her great grandchildren.
She will be missed by many who loved her.
