Vensil-Wagner-Marshall Funeral Homes - DresdenP. David Vansickle, 64, of West Lafayette, died Friday, February 27, 2026, at GentleBrook Lafayette Meadows, West Lafayette.
Born November 2, 1961, in Zanesville to Paul L. Vansickle and the late Kathleen “Kate” (Adams) Vansickle. David attended Starlight Schools in Zanesville and was a Jehovah’s Witness. He loved school, he enjoyed learning, counting, singing, flipping through magazines, and doing puzzles. David loved playing small hand games to keep his mind sharp and watching Price is Right. He was always laughing and finding joy in the great outdoors and helping around the house with chores.
Surviving is his father, Paul L. Vansickle of Adamsville; sister, Susan (Jim) Untied of Dresden; seven nieces and nephews and six great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by a sister, Tina L. Baker.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at Bethesda Church Cemetery near Adamsville with Minister Steve Foster officiating.
David will be laid to rest next to his mother, Kate at Bethesda Church Cemetery.
