My condolence to the family of Paco de Lucia. Angels in heaven will greed the great master. Loved his music. A one in a lifetime artist. His love of music and the mastery of his guitar was endless. He will always be the BEST

Paco De Lucia's music brought so much joy into my life and I collected all of his CDs.
I was shocked to learn about the untimely death of this true genius. My heartfelt condolences go out to his entire family. May you rest assured that you are not alone in your sorrow.Through his music he will live forever!

With my deepest sympathy, I am wishing the family of Paco de Lucia peace and the comfort that only the God of all comfort can provide so abundantly. I am hoping that the promise of endless life free of sickness and death sounds appealing to you as you cherish the years you have already spent with him. Paco will be genuinely missed by all who knew him, valued his music, and loved him.

Our deepest sympathies to the entire De Lucia family during this most difficult time. Please know, God is near to those that are broken at heart, and those crushed in spirit he saves.

My best friend has gone to heaven, now with Sabicas and the other great names of Flamenco and the guitar. When I first traveled to Spain in my youth, fate led me to Ilustration #7 street in Madrid. His mother Lucia made me dinner and Paco and I spoke through the night. In Chiacgo, years later, I brought Paco to Orchestra Hall and performed "Entre Dos Aguas" with him at the end of his concert and subsequently toured with him throughout the southeastern United States in five states.
This was the greatest moment in my life, teaching me his technique, style, and philosophy. If anyone wants to hear my story, please call me at 847-830-0471 and I will tell you great stories of our experiences touring. There will never be another one like Paco de Lucia. You aspiring guitarists, keep playing hard for you now stand on ther shoulders of someone who suffered and showed the world that it "could be done". Paco, dearest friend, wait for me.

My father was a Flamenco dancer I grew up listening to his beautiful music may god bless you, you are now playing the guitar in heaven.
