Paliben Patel, a beloved matriarch who touched the lives of many through her remarkable spirit and unwavering strength, passed away on August 18, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia. Born on December 21, 1927, in Dungra, India, Paliben was a beacon of love and resilience to all who knew her.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in the chapel of Albritton Funeral Directors with Maharaj Bharatbhai officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at the funeral home.
Paliben was a woman of exceptional character, defined by her strong will, caring nature, and feisty demeanor. She was known for always putting others before herself, embodying the essence of family in every aspect of her life. Her passion for playing cards and board games brought joy to many gatherings, showcasing her playful spirit and love for connection. As the best chef in her family, she nurtured her loved ones not only with her culinary skills but also with her hardworking attitude and positive outlook. Paliben was a true fighter, navigating life’s challenges with grace and determination who never complained about her life circumstances or health.
Paliben leaves behind a loving family who will cherish her memory dearly. She is survived by her son, Navin Patel, daughter -in-law, Sobhna Patel whom she loved very much, her four grandchildren, Dimple Patel, Priya Patel, Megha Patel, and Naimesh Patel, as well as her great-grandchildren, Neev Patel, Shaylen Patel, and Aanya Patel. Additionally, she is survived by one great-great grandchild and her sister, Sushilaben Patel.
Paliben was preceded in death by her husband, Ishvar Patel; her father, Bhulabhai Patel; her mother, Mangiben Patel; her daughter, Chandrikaben Patel; her granddaughter, Tina Patel and her grandson, Pareshbhai Patel.
The legacy of Paliben Patel will continue to live on through the values she instilled in her family and the countless fond memories shared among them. Her indomitable spirit, love for family, and zest for life will forever remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed but fondly remembered.
