Palma Abate

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Palma Abate, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 56 years, on Saturday, August 5, 2023. She was the beloved wife of Pino, married for 35 beautiful years, and the cherished mother of daughter Natasha (Chris) and son Vincent (Amanda). Her grandsons Antonino (Nino) and Giuseppe (Joey) were the apple of her eye, and her love for them knew no bounds. Palma is also survived by her father Vito, sisters Tonia (Felice), Rosa (Vito), Eva (David). She was predeceased by her dear mother, Giuseppina. Fondly remembered by many loving nieces and nephews.
Palma was a beacon of strength, perseverance, and forgiveness. Her loving and supportive nature enriched the lives of all who knew her. She found her greatest joy in spending quality time with family and friends, always there to offer a warm embrace or a comforting word.
The family will receive their friends at the Egan Funeral Home, 203 Queen St. S. (Hwy. 50), Bolton (905-857-2213) on Tuesday afternoon from 2 – 4 o'clock and evening 6 – 9 o'clock.
Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 60 Allan Drive, Bolton on Wednesday morning, August 9 at 10 o'clock.
Entombment Glendale Memorial Gardens, 1810 Albion Road, Etobicoke.
