A new life blossomed in Poza Rica, Veracruz, Mexico, on April 1, 1960, with the arrival of Palmira, the beloved daughter of Efraín Flores and Ester Rodríguez. Her path led her to Carlos Montes, with whom she joined hands and hearts on March 16, 1980, beginning a new life as Palmira Flores Rodríguez Montes. The laughter of her grandchildren was her favorite melody, and the time shared with her family was her most precious gift. With her hands in the soil, she cultivated the beauty of her garden and took advantage of every opportunity to sow the truths of the Bible in the hearts of her family and all who wished to hear them as a faithful and devoted Jehovah's Witness. A garden of memories, planted and cared for with a lifetime of love, is the legacy Palmira leaves behind. At the center of her legacy is her beloved husband, Carlos Montes. Her strongest branches are her daughters: Karla Montes Piñon (Abraham), Elia Montes Mireles (Juan) and Rebecca Cordero (Jaime). This tree extends to her brothers: Bernardo Flores, Luis Rodriguez, Herbey Flores and her sister Elia Garcia. The newest and most cherished flowers are her grandsons and granddaughters: Alexander, Danue, Junior, Oriana, Emilio, Kenia and Sherlyn. Her love also grafted onto others, creating a family that included Jonas Tezcucano, James Milan, Jose Velazquez and Isabel Martinez. The warmth of her spirit will continue to be felt in her spiritual family and the countless friends who loved her.
