Pamela (Pam) Mae Pollock, age 68, passed away Tuesday September 24th, 2024, while in hospice care in Wheeling, WV. Born November 9, 1955, the daughter of the late Robert E. and Edna M. (Porter) Yates. She was preceded in death by both parents, her loving husband Ron Pollock, brother John Pasquale, and sister, RuthAnn Belanger.
Pam graduated from Buckeye South High School in 1975. She and Ron, the love of her life, were married on August 23, 1975 (just three months after graduating high school). Ron passed away less than 3 months ago; she missed him greatly. We find peace knowing they are happy and healthy, together again.
Pam is survived by her three children, Kara (Chad) Hall, Glen Easton, WV, Ronald (Christina) Pollock II, Hudson, OH, and Eric Pollock, Flushing, OH. She is also survived by her brother Richard (Ilene) Zinn, and seven grandchildren – Travis Young, Taylor Young, Sariah Pollock, Madison Pollock, Cole Miller, Claire Carzoo-Pollock, and Benjamin Carzoo-Pollock.
Pam battled numerous medical issues during the last years of her life that robbed her of most of her favorite things. When healthy she loved cooking meals and baking for her family, attending church, going to the movies, and visiting the Carolina beaches.
Online condolences for the family may be left at carechapel.com
A joint memorial service for Pam & Ron is being planned for the spring, per their wishes.
