Pamela Jean Frandsen was born on May 21, 1952, in Pickstown, South Dakota. She was the daughter of Ejner and Alyce (Brodsky) Frandsen. Pam was baptized as an infant and confirmed in her faith at First Lutheran Church in Lake Andes, South Dakota. She grew up on her family's farm and attended West Howard #35 country school. Pam then graduated from Andes Central High School with the class of 1970 before later continuing her education as a nurse at Mitchell Technical School in Mitchell, South Dakota.
In 1974, Pam was united in marriage to Warren Parker at First Lutheran Church. The couple farmed and raised two daughters and spent 26 years of marriage together prior to his death in February of 2001. On July 7, 2007, Pam was married to her soul mate, Don Cwach, in Fairfax, South Dakota. The couple shared three amazing years together before Don tragically died in a farm accident. Pam then moved to Marshall, Minnesota, to be closer to her daughters.
Pam worked for many years as a CNA before finishing her nursing school in the early 2000s. She worked at several facilities both in South Dakota and in the Marshall area prior to her retirement in 2019. Her enjoyments in life included knitting, crocheting, sewing, dancing, listening to music, and was always up for a game of cards or Rummikub. She was devoted to her family and faith was very important to her. Pam loved animals and had many pets over the years. Most recently, she doted on her little buddy, Rascal.
Pam Cwach died on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Tyler, Minnesota. She reached the age of 73 years, 4 months, and 16 days. Blessed be her memory.
