PAMELA THERESA DRAKE, 64 of Sullivan, formerly of Arcola, IL passed away at 5:10 P.M. on Friday, February 28, 2025 at St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Friday, March 7, 2025 at the Edwards Funeral Home, 221 East Main Street in Arcola, IL. Rev. Michael Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in the Arcola Cemetery. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral, from 11:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pam was born on October 18, 1960 in Tuscola, IL, a daughter of Jesse Ernest “Ernie” and Mabel Marie (Pickel) Drake.
She is survived by four children, Michael Paul Drake of Sullivan, IL, Linda Carter and her husband Zach of Sullivan, Billy Campbell and his wife Jennifer of La Place, IL and Resy Campbell of Champaign, IL; five grandchildren, Christina Ingram and her husband Coleton, Brandon Gilbert, Willie Gilbert, and Justin Gilbert, all of Sullivan, IL and Lillian Campbell of Decatur, IL; two great-grandchildren, Lydia Ingram and Miles Campbell; two brothers, Dennis Drake of Arcola, IL and Danny Drake and his wife Glayds of Arthur, IL and a sister-in-law, Kathy Drake of Tuscola, IL.
Pam is preceded in death by her parents, and six siblings, Jesse Drake, Vera Drake, Larry Drake, Ronnie Drake, Donna Mitsdarffer, and Jerry Drake.
Growing up Pam attended Arcola Schools. She completed the LPN Nursing program at Parkland College and worked at various nursing homes in the area for several years.
Pam loved the Lord and was a member of New Beginnings Apostolic Church in Sullivan, IL.
She enjoyed watching WWE wrestling on TV. She enjoyed being outside. Her favorite thing to do was simply spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Edwards Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
