Pamela Jean Miller Gravitt, passed away on November 21, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on August 21, 1961, in Staunton, Virginia, Pamela was known for her artistic talents, caring heart, and fiery spirit. Pamela was predeceased by her father, George David Miller and her mother, Bettye Crum Miller, whose memory she cherished dearly. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ira Gravitt.

A skilled hairdresser by profession, Pamela was much more than her occupation. She had a remarkable talent for drawing and was an accomplished creator of jewelry and wreaths. Her hands were never idle, as she also loved to crochet beautiful pieces for those she loved. Her creativity and passion for the arts left a lasting impression on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Pamela was also renowned for her culinary skills, particularly for her delicious biscuits and sweet tea, which were staples at family gatherings. Her kitchen was often filled with laughter, the aroma of home-cooked meals, and the warmth that only she could provide. Her greatest gift, however, was her heart of gold. Pamela had a caring and giving nature that touched many lives. She was never shy to voice her thoughts and stood firm in her beliefs, embodying a blend of kindness and courageous honesty that inspired those around her.

Pam is survived by a son, Jeremy Miller; significant other, James Rust; stepsons, Tommy & Robert Gravitt; sister, Gail Howell (Dennis); grandchild, Savannah Miller; numerous nieces & nephews; and mom, Carolyn Miller.

In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by siblings, Howell Trent Jr, Sandra Epps & Jeffrey Miller.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Halifax Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, 1:00 PM until service time at Brooks Lyon Funeral Home.
