Pamela Louise Hiltz
October 24, 1951 - May 21, 2025
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pamela Louise Hiltz, who left this world on May 21, 2025, surrounded in love by her family in Show Low, Arizona, at the age of 73, after a brief illness.
Pam was born on October 24, 1951, in Southgate, California, to Ronald and Margaret Houston. She grew up with her siblings - Donald Houston (wife Cynthia), Katherine Houston, and Jeanette Mayoral.
Pamela spent many years as a grocery cashier, retiring from Bashas' Supermarket. She loved her customers and welcomed them like family.
She is lovingly remembered by her children: son Dennis Wimmer (wife Veronica) and daughter Jennifer Teel, and was preceded in death by her son John Wimmer. Pamela was a devoted grandmother to Jessyca Damato (husband Nick), Clay Wimmer (wife Gloria), Arron Teel (wife Dezy), and Katlynn Teel. She was a proud great-grandmother to Isabella Damato, Isaiah Damato, Lilyan Damato, Luca Damato, Axxel Teel, Frayja Teel, and Kairi Hanson. She was deeply loved by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Family was at the heart of everything Pamela did. She found joy in the simple pleasures of organizing large family gatherings and planning trips together, especially cruises. She loved fiercely and unconditionally, and she was a strong woman in every aspect of her life. She was a true advocate and caregiver, especially for those with disabilities.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her strength, her kind heart, her gentle soul, and the love she gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date.
Her wings were ready, but our hearts were not.
