Pamela "Pam" Joyce Jackson, 67, of Benton, went home to be with the Lord around 9:20am on October 19, 2025.

She was a graduate of Malvern High School and the University of Central Arkansas School of Nursing. Pam married John Jackson in 1982. She was a surgical nurse for 10 years at St. Vincent's Hospital and a school nurse for 25 years in the Little Rock, and Bryant School Districts until her retirement, Pam enjoyed her students and their smiling faces.

She was a member of the Benton First Church of the Nazarene where she taught various Sunday School classes from Kindergarten to Senior Adults. Pam enjoyed vacationing, especially to Navarre Beach, FL where she was always at peace. She had a green thumb and always enjoyed planting flowers and watching them thrive, she also enjoyed animals. Pam was married to John for 43 wonderful years. She gained a daughter in 2019 when Rusty married Savannah. She especially enjoyed every minute playing and being with her grandson Clayton Jackson that she called Sweet Boy.

Pam was preceded in death by her father, James Wilburn Welcher and sister, Jo Ann Jones.

Pam is survived by her husband, John Jackson of Benton; son, Rusty Jackson (Savannah) of Benton; grandson, Clayton Jackson of Benton; sister, Janet Davis of Claremore, OK; brother, James Welcher of Seattle, WA; mother, Pansy Reid of Hot Springs.

Pam's celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, at 11:30 A.M. with Bro. Brady Lane officiating and the Nurse Honor Guard, Legacy Keepers, presenting honors to Pam for her years of nursing, at the Benton First Church of the Nazarene: 1203 W Sevier St, Benton, AR 72015.

Following her service, we will be escorted by Fully Involved Motorcycle Escort, to Mt. Harmony Cemetery in Haskell, Arkansas where we will lay Pam to rest.
