BOWLING GREEN -- Pamela J. King, 78, of Bowling Green, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2025. She was born on May 26, 1947, to the late George and Evelyn (Loomis) Byrd in Bowling Green, Ohio.
Pamela was a proud graduate of Bowling Green High School. Throughout her life, she embodied the spirit of creativity, compassion, and faith. She owned and operated her own small business.
A devoted member of Plain Church in Bowling Green, Pamela's faith was the cornerstone of her life. She drew great strength and comfort from her relationship with God and from the fellowship of her church family.
Pamela was known for her love of animals and was a devoted pet owner. She was also an avid reader who cherished quiet moments with a good book. Her artistic spirit shone through in her love of arts and crafts-she had an exceptional talent for decorating and bringing beauty into every space she touched.
She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Pamela is survived by her beloved sons Tod (Pamela) Heckler of Perrysburg, Ohio, Jason (Amy) King of Perrysburg, Ohio, Brandon (Rene) King of Curtice, Ohio, Brian King of Maumee, Ohio, her dear grandchildren Michael (Sara) King, Aaron (Autumn Mottor) Heckler, Emily King, Sarah Heckler, Sadie King, Audrey King, Ethan King, Josh King, Isla King Ellianna King, great-grandchild Charli King, her sisters Lynda (Barry) MacKichan, Mary (Dick) Clarke, and Louise (Bill) Schira.
A memorial service for Pamela will take place on Saturday December 6, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at Dunn Funeral Home located in the Historical District of Bowling Green, Ohio at 408 W. Wooster St. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:30 a.m.
