Pamela Lighthall Obituary
Pamela was born on May 24, 1966 in Rome, NY, and raised by her parents Robert E. Edick and Eula Edick. She grew up in Floyd, NY, and attended Holland Patent Central School. She married Stanley Lighthall Jr., and together they had five children. She had an extensive work history and strong work ethic. In the early 1980's, she was employed at St. Luke's Hospital as an Environmental Technician, and from 1985 to 1986 she was a CNA at Milford Nursing Home. For a period of 8 years, she ran a daycare through her home, and from 1994 to 1999 she was employed at Mohawk Electrodes. From 1999 to 2003, she worked at Grande's in Holland Patent, and Denny's in Utica. From 2004 to 2011 she was employed at Waterbury Felt, and from 2013 to 2018, she worked as a CNA at Presbyterian Home, a job she truly loved. Pamela enjoyed playing pool and Billiard and would often play barefoot, music, sunny beaches, camping, animals, and a cold Coors Light. She thoroughly enjoyed cooking and baking, and would host many cookouts. She could often be seen gardening and doing her crafts. Her family was very important to her, and she could not be more proud of them, especially being able to see her first born grandson, Tyler, graduate. Those who knew Pamela knew she "didn't take anyone's crap", and would not judge anyone for their faults. Pamela was a very nurturing woman, who many referred to as a second mom.
Surviving are her children; Stanley (Heather) Lighthall III, Courtney (Jon) Bosh, Steven (Adrienne) Lighthall, and Sean (Amanda) Lighthall; 11 grandchildren; her companion David "Skid" Murray; one brother Bobby (Kathleen) Edick, and sisters; Mona (Jim) Pietrusewsky, Becky (Jim) Smith, Candy Bombard, Tracy Signorelli, and Robin Edick. She was predeceased by her newborn baby.
A celebration of life will be held on August 2, 2025 at 2 p.m. at the Stittville V.F.W., 8999 Olin Road, Stittville, NY 13469. There are no calling hours. Arrangements entrusted with Ackley- Mills Funeral Home, Remsen. For an online message of sympathy go to www.millsfuneralhomes.com
