Pamela McConnell

It is with profound sadness and steadfast hope in the Resurrection that we announce the passing of Pamela McConnell (Homant), who was called home to her Heavenly Father on January 12, 2026. She was 64 years old. A resident of Davison, Pam was a woman defined by her unwavering faith, her fiery spirit, and her devotion to her family. She lived her life as a testament to the fruits of the Spirit-love, joy, peace, and kindness-sharing the light of Christ with everyone she encountered.

Pam moved through the world with a grace that touched many lives. She found her greatest joy in her family, always offering a listening ear and a prayerful heart to those she loved. Her legacy of compassion and strength will continue to inspire those who knew her.

She is preceded in death by her father Joseph Homant. She leaves behind a legacy of faith to be carried on by her mother, Patricia Abel and step-father Richard; her daughter, Jennifer Sherwood; grandson, Jordan Sherwood; sister, Theresa (Jerry) Switalski (Homant); brother, Steve (Cindy) Homant; sister, Anne (Keith) Browne (Homant); step-brother, Dan Cook; step-mother, Susanne Homant; many nieces and nephews, and a host of dear friends who will miss her dearly.

While our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in the promise of Scripture: "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." – Revelation 21:4

A celebration of Pam's life will be held at a later date.
