Pamela Miller Obituary

Pamela Miller

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Pamela Kay "Pam" Miller, age 71, of Island Lake, IL, on October 27, 2025. Pam passed away at Good Shepherd Hospital peacefully and surrounded by her loving family.

Pam was born on June 24, 1954, to Herbert and Bernice Kufke in Des Plaines, IL. Pam graduated from Fremd High School in 1972. She is the youngest of three and had two older brothers (Herbert and Richard). Pam was married to Eugene Miller on November 16, 1974. The pair enjoyed living in Virginia Beach, Virginia while Eugene served in The Navy. The two of them moved back to Illinois in June 1976; they would have been married 51 years this November. During Pam's life, she enjoyed raising her family, travelling, camping, cooking, and spoiling her grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her loyalty, selfless and loving heart, and a yummy crockpot meal.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Eugene; her children, Eugene James II (Codee) Miller, Lisa (Charles) Buschick, and Samantha (Joseph) Studer; her six grandchildren, Jessica, Ethan, Charlie, Colin, Kennedy, and Kayleigh; and her brother, Richard.

She is preceded in death by her father, mother, and brother.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00-11:00am with a celebration of life service starting at 11:00am at The Hope Collective Church in Lake Zurich, IL (23153 W. Miller Rd., Lake Zurich, IL, 60047).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make donations to Placing Paws of Illinois: https://placingpawsrescue.org/.

Arrangements were entrusted to Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home. Sign the guest book at www.kisselburgwaucondafuneralhome.com.
