SAD NEWS
Calling to mind many memories of cousin Pam. Dozens of visits with my family from Chicago to Oregon. My family would pile into the car, Myron and Mae, parents, Paul and Bill, brothers, and we headed west. Upon arrival, I must say hello to Uncle Ray and Aunt Loree, they always open their hearts with kindness and hospitality to our brood and made our visit most enjoyable. I would then go to Pam (our concierge, social director, etc.) and simply say "what's up?" She would have the cousin's itinerary laid out for the day. Lunch, a 4 min rest after we ate (more rest would just be a waste of time), visit the Chief Blackhawk memorial on the banks of the Rock River, perhaps some horseback riding, a savage game of wiffle ball in the yard, etc. On our down time we solved some of the world's problems and she would finish up by asking me about my current girlfriend... in great details was a must; all the girlfriend questions were before I was married of course.
My memories will not be forgotten from a great lady, cousin, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother; I will miss her. Vaya Con Dios
