Pamela Owens Obituary

Pamela Owens, 82
Pamela "Pam" Owens passed away peacefully on Oct. 16, 2025, in Louisville, Ky. Born on July 29, 1943, in Lexington, she lived a life grounded in faith, compassion and service. A devout Catholic and dedicated AA advocate, Pam devoted years of her life to helping women in prison find hope and sobriety through God's grace and the recovery process. Her honesty, humor and unwavering belief in redemption touched countless lives. Pam found joy in simple pleasures, such as gardening, going to the market to sell her homemade soup and chatting with her children. She was a mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, sponsor and friend, but above all, a woman of deep faith and love.
She is survived by her children, Mark, Amy, Melissa and Timothy; grandchildren, Savannah, Emily, Cody and Christopher; her siblings, Rebecca and Beau; and 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Adrienne; her brother, Chris; her sister Shari Bennett and her grandsons, Sean and Patrick.
Details for her celebration of life will be shared by the family. Pam's legacy of faith, humor and fierce compassion will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
