Pamela Gay Brown, affectionately known as Pam, age 64, resident of Coweta, OK, passed away on Tuesday evening, August 5, 2025 at her home in Coweta, OK surrounded by her family. She was born on June 21, 1961, in Carlsbad, NM to Freddy Ray Crabtree and Norma Ann (Smith) Beeman. Pam's life was a testament to her unwavering spirit and the love she had for her family and friends.
Pam grew up in Carlsbad, NM, where she attended Carlsbad schools. Her caring nature led her to a fulfilling career as a caretaker in the healthcare industry, where she touched the lives of many with her compassion and dedication.
On June 15, 2002, Pam married the love of her life, Junior Brown, in Eureka Springs, AR. Their union was a testament to true love and partnership. Pam's love for her family was immeasurable, and she cherished every moment spent with her beloved husband, children, and grandchildren.
Pam is survived by her husband, Junior Brown of their home in Coweta, OK; her daughters, Kristin Sanders and husband Matt of Hulbert, OK, and Ashley Day and fiancé Daniel Gilbert of Coweta, OK; her eight grandchildren, Michael Day, Bradley Day, Summer Day, Keera O’Hern, Sadie Loftis, Eli Gilbert, Roxie Brown, and Renee Brown; her sisters, Linda Melton and husband Billy of Loving, NM, and Brandy Beeman of Carlsbad, NM; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddy Ray Crabtree and Norma Ann Beeman, her sons, Levi Brown and Garrett Brown, and her nephew, Leslie Michael Duncan.
A woman of many passions, Pam's enthusiasm for life was infectious. She reveled in the magic of her favorite holidays, Halloween and Christmas, and took great pleasure in making floral arrangements and tending to her garden. Her love for animals was evident to all who knew her, as was her fondness for going to the movies. Pam's love for coffee was well-known, with her regular visits to Starbucks and Overflow Coffee Company, where her order was always ready with a smile. A good cook and a friend to all, Pam's warm presence and open heart made her a cherished member of her community.
Pam's radiant smile and generous spirit will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
Visitation for Pam will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at Brown Funeral Home in Coweta, OK. Services celebrating Pam's life will take place at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Coweta Assembly in Coweta, OK, with Pastor Steve Lee officiating. Pam will be laid to rest at Vernon Cemetery in Coweta, OK.
