Mrs. Pamela Porter Wilson, 73, of Chapel Hill, TN, died on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, in Franklin, Tennessee. She was a native of Nashville, TN and a daughter of the late Woodrow Jones Porter and Geraldine Wimms Porter. Mrs. Wilson was a member of the Chapel Hill Church of Christ and a retired educator in the Metro Nashville School System. She was a member of the Marshall County Farm Bureau Women and the Marshall County Retired Teacher’s Group. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Penny Taylor.
Mrs. Pam loved to travel and explore. She truly enjoyed family gatherings and affectionately served in her membership groups. She loved communicating and visiting with her friends and family and shopping. She enjoyed participating in church activities. Most of all, she loved her family and enjoying life with them, especially her children and grandchildren.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Randall B. Wilson of Chapel Hill, TN; children, Wendy Elaine Wilson of Chapel Hill, TN, Randall Ashley (Paula) Wilson of Franklin, TN, Christopher Ryan (Maryann) Wilson of Chapel Hill, TN, Jennifer Suzanne (Matthew) Bayliss of Lebanon, TN; 7 grandchildren, Annelise & Ian Wilson, Bella, Bentley, & Blake Wilson, Ariel & Melody Bayliss; sister, Patricia Ann Ellis of Lakeland, FL; and many other loving family members.
Visitation with the family will be on Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Lawrence Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, TN. Visitation will be on Friday, November 22, 2024 from 11 AM until 12 Noon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Orlinda, TN. The funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 22, 2024 at 12 Noon at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 3049 Pleasant Hill Church Road, Orlinda, TN 37141 with Isaac Bourne officiating. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Orlinda, TN.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
