Mrs. Rossman was my piano teacher from my sophomore year of high school until I was a senior. She was recommended to me by my choir teacher, who had also studied with her. I had a lot of teachers growing up, but Mrs. Rossman was one of the most patient, compassionate, and helpful teachers that I ever had the pleasure of studying with. She left an impression on me that lasted well after my lessons with her ended, and I have thought about her every day since then.

Mike and family, please accept my deepest condolences. As you know, Pam and I were almost drawn to each other like magnets when I pledged ZTA in 1970. She was the best Big Sister I could have asked for. Being a shy, bookish, only child, I was in desperate need of someone to coach me and help me navigate in the next stage of my social and academic life. Being suite mates starting my sophomore year, we became even closer that most of our sisters. In addition to treasuring our time together at Southwestern, there are several other hallmarks in our friendship. It was my distinct honor to be a bridesmaid in your wedding. In about 2013 we enjoyed a wonderful two week trip to Maui, my second home. After returning to Fort Worth she was there to welcome me to my first and subsequent reunions and so were you. Pam has a special and large place in my heart. Love Karen
