Pamela Schoenly Obituary
Pamela Sue (Pam) Schoenly, born September 9, 1948, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Mona; brothers, David and John; and sister-in-law, Drue.
She is survived by her brother, Randy; Aunt Judy Bill; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also left to grieve is her very large and loving Summit County D.D. family, especially the staff and residents of the Nolley Road Hattie Larlham home and the staff and fellow employees of the Resource Empowerment Workshop.
We nearly lost Pam four years ago from Covid-19. Pam did not have an easy life but met every challenge as best she could. There were times Pam would have you rolling with laughter. Other times if she became upset, it was "Katy, bar the door," and she would let you know she wasn't happy. She will be missed dearly. Rest in peace, Pammy Sue.
Calling hours for Pam will take place Wednesday, March 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Cox-McNulty Funeral Home, 222 Norton Ave., Barberton. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Roma leading the services. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Cemetery in Akron, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hattie Larlham Home (5788 Nolley Rd., New Franklin, OH 44319) or Resource Empowerment Workshop.

Pamela and I are cousins. Our families were close and we spent many times together. We were blessed by support from our extended family especially with holiday events at grandma's house.
Pamela please find rest and comfort now.
