Clinton – Pamela Vern Sills, 74, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, November 22, 2025, at IU Health Red Crest in Bloomington, Indiana. She was born September 20, 1951, in Laramie, Wyoming to the late William Sullivan and Nellie Stites Sullivan.
Pam was a retired caregiver and a devoted Sunday School teacher.
She was a very faithful servant who loved sharing Jesus with everyone she met. Her heart for ministry touched many lives. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church, Hillcrest Community Center, and the Reading Bootcamp Learning and Training Center at Hillcrest. She would joyfully go to church with anyone and desired to help others grow in their faith.
She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Michael H. Sills, whom she married on May 23, 2003; five children, Marie Hoadley of Prairieton, Indiana, Ray Fellows, Jr. of Clinton, Amy (Mike) Gibson of Terre Haute, Maryann (Ryan) Davis of Clinton, and Edward (Erika) Kiner, Sr. of Paris, Tennessee; three bonus children, Tonya Vonkelsheimer, Bud Sills, and Stacie Amerman; 14 grandchildren, Robert (Destiny) Markello, Jamie Markello, Kole Sanders, Coby Fellows, Kyra Fellows, Bailey Bush, Tyler Bush, Brynnly Gibson, Madison Klyaic, Mikaitlyn Klyaic, Luke Davis, Nathan Davis, Edward (Katie) Kiner, Jr., and Ean Kiner; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she dearly loved.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved grandmother, Essie London; and two uncles whom she adored, Elmer Dean King and Charles Stites.
Pam adored her children and grandchildren, and nothing brought her more joy than being with her family. She loved taking adventures with them, cheering them on, and celebrating every milestone. She had a heart that was always giving and constantly helping others, offering encouragement, and stepping in whenever someone needed a hand. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering faith made a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know her.
The family will host a Celebration of Life at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Victory Baptist Church, 133 South Washington Street, Clinton, with Pastors Albert Fields and Larry Snyder officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at the church.
