Pamela Guy Watkins, 70, passed away unexpectedly at home in Carolina Beach, NC, on November 11, 2025. She was born on May 8, 1955, in Wake County, NC, and was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Lera Guy.
She is survived by her best friend and husband of 50 years, Rayford Watkins; daughters, Jena Chow and Haley Watkins; grandchildren, Landon, Liam, and Mae; brother, Mark Guy and wife, Jackie; and sister, Sandy Furlough and husband, Charles.
Pam was a hairdresser in Garner, NC, for 38 years, known not just for her talent, but for her big personality and sharp sense of humor. She could make anyone laugh and never hesitated to speak her mind, always with a twinkle in her eye. Pam loved taking care of her family and had a special place in her heart for the elderly. Her greatest joy was being "Mimi" to her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
A celebration of her life will be held in the Garner area, and the family will share details once they are available.
