Benson, NC: Parrish Michael Parker, age 25, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021 at UNC Johnston Health in Smithfield, NC, with his loving family by his side. Graveside Funeral Services will be 3:00PM-Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Johnson Memorial Church Cemetery outside Benson, NC. Rev. Chris Searles will officiate.
Parrish was born on November 28, 1995 in Johnston County, NC. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, James Melvin “Jim” and Brenda Parrish, and Billy E. Parker. Parrish loved John Deere Tractors, Mustangs, Music and his video games. He was a 2015 graduate of West Johnston High School. Parrish was loved by all who knew him and will never be forgotten.
Surviving include his parents, Michael and Betty Parker; sister, Emma Parker, grandmother, Mary J. Parker; special caregiver, Melissa Dominguez; many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Parrish will be available for viewing and you may sign the register book from 1:00PM-5:00PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Benson, NC. The family will not be present during this time.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering. Face coverings are not required, but are kindly recommended for all services.
Memorials may be made to the Parrish Michael Parker Memorial Fund C/O/ Michael and Betty Parker 900 S. Pleasant Coates Road, Benson, NC 27504. All proceeds given will be sent to the Duke Neuromuscular Clinic, for treatment of Duchenne’s Muscular Dystrophy at Duke University Medical Center. Please make check's payable to Charles M. Parker.
