One of a kind! He will be missed by so many! RIP Coach

My favorite coach to work with of all-time. A tremendous competitor and a loyal friend. Seeing him each year in Natchitoches for the Louisiana Sports Hall of Fame inductions is a cherished memory. Condolences to Pat's vast circle of loved ones.

Only knew coach briefly, but pretty well in a short time frame. On the field he could put the fear of God in you, but then make you proud when he saw you doing something right. God bless the Collins family.

I remember the day Coach Collins and Coach Lewis showed up in our drive in Longview, Texas in 1973 just like it was yesterday. You were there to talk Tech. Thank you for giving me a chance. What a life long blessing it has been. You will be missed.

I only knew Coach a few years. He was and will be one of my favorite coaches. When he came to Longview and brought his amazing Coaching staff. Was the best thing that happened to LOBO FOOTBALL. HE WILL BE MISSED! However he lives on through his coaches and players.

I will always remember my memories of Coach & Mrs. Bonnie. I have a Christmas ornament from Idaho that I treasure. Hugs and prayers to the family and friends.
