Pat Miller

Decatur ~ Pat Miller, 86, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 28, 2025 in Denton. 

Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 1st , at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. 

Barry Jameson to officiate. Pallbearers are Michael Miller, Matthew Miller, John Jennings, Blake Jameson, Brian Jameson, Ben Jameson and Gabe Jameson. 

Pat was born on January 7, 1939 to Harry Weldon and Mary Oneta (Wright) Miller in Denton. He was united in marriage to Rosemary Chancellor on February 17, 1978 in Plano. They shared over 45 wonderful years together marked with a multitude of family celebrations and special friendships. Pat was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Mary Oneta Miller; and his wife, Rosemary Miller. 

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his brother Bobby Miller and his children, Mitchell (and Becki), and Mary Margaret (and Perry), Barry (and Susie), Garry (and Patty); grandchildren, Chelsea, Michael (and Mary Beth), Matthew, Macy (and Clint), Calley (and Caiden), John, Blake (and Amber), Brian (and Kendra), Ben, Sarah, Breanna (and Joe), Summer, Paxton and Gabe; 17 great-grandchildren; and a boatload of nieces and nephews and a large host of friends.
