Patti Diane Anderson, daughter of Harold and JoAnn (Redfield) Anderson, was born October 1, 1957 in Morris, Minnesota. Pat grew up on a farm near Morris and loved being a farm kid. She loved dressing up kitties with her sister, and loved all of the animals. When she was in the fifth grade, she finally convinced her dad to get her a pony named Fella that wasn’t trained. She spent a lot of time training her. She remembers having so many adventures with cousins Shell and Steve which included two broken arms for Steve, both at the same time while riding horse! Pat graduated from Morris High School in 1976. She was a tomboy turned homecoming queen, being crowned the night that her and Ron had their very first date! Pat and Ron were married September 1, 1979 at Federated Church in Morris. They were blessed with three children: Brooke, Brady and Brittany. Pat worked at Stevens Community Medical Center for 38 years, with many amazing coworkers. One of the best things Pat and Ron started, was taking their kids on yearly trips to Mexico. They had so much fun ziplining, four wheeling, parasailing and bonding time as a family. Later in life, they had other fun trips to Medora, Mackinac Island where they biked with John and SuAnn, Segway tours in Scottsdale and trips to Gatlinburg and Branson with Steve and Nancy.
Pat’s greatest joy was her three children, their spouses, and her ten beautiful grandkids. She was so proud of each and every one of them. She loved her husband who was an amazing caregiver and dad. Some of her hobbies included quilting, reading, photobook making, and known by family as the calendar queen. Most of all, Pat loved being with her family.
Pat passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 at the Stevens Community Medical Center in Morris. She was 66 years old.
