Florence “Pat” Thompson, age 91, of Clarksville, TN, passed peacefully at Fieldstone Senior Living Center on Saturday, March 16, 2024. A Celebration of Life Service with Rev. David Mackens and Bro. Jeff Perry will be at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 22 at the chapel of McReynolds Nave and Larson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the order of service on Friday. Internment will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Pat was born to the late Pascal Lee Givens and Cora Henry Givens on Christmas Day, 1932 in Altamont, TN. She was a long-time member of Trenton Crossing Church of Christ.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband Vernon Ray Thompson, sons; Ray Ewing Thompson and Philip Wayne Thompson, as well as her siblings; Pascal Lee Givens Jr. ,Charles Givens, Margaret Finchum, Nora Sulton, and Joann Gilbert.
Pat leaves behind her loving daughter Jayte Howard (Kelley), her grandchildren; Brittany Rasco (Justin), Tiffany Perry (Jeff), Regina Thompson, Ashley Parsons (Bryan), Lindsey Adams (Todd), Michelle Batson (Ryan), Luke Howard (Annie) and Katie Beth Kinser (Matt) as well as 19 beloved great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings; Linda Couch, Bobby Givens, Mary Givens, Dale Givens, Jimmie Van Hooser, and Wanda Givens, as well as her daughter in law; Cindie Thompson.
Serving as Pallbearers will Dylan Perry, Karson Rasco, Chuck Givens, Justin Rasco, Ron Alvarez, Jeff Perry, and Drew Howard.
The family would also like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Fieldstone Senior Living, who treated Pat like she was their own mother.
