Patricia Aust, lovingly known as “Ma,” passed away peacefully on December 9th, 2025.She is preceded in death by her husband and best friend, Thomas Aust.
Patricia leaves behind a family who adored her: her sons, Jon and Jay; her daughters-in-law, Patti Vollum and Lynn; and her two grandchildren, Tanner and Trevor, who were the light of her life.
Ma was the kind of person who made everyone feel at home. She loved deeply, listened well, and filled ordinary moments with a warmth that can’t be replaced. Her laughter, her stubborn strength, and her quiet way of caring for those she loved will be carried forward through the people she poured so much of herself into.
Her family will continue to honor her legacy by loving each other the way she taught them—steadfastly, honestly, and with heart.
Private services to follow. Her remains will be scattered along with our dad's, off the Florida coast where they will "dance" together in the warm, tranquil ocean waters for all of eternity.

What kind of arrangement is appropriate, where should you send it, and when should you send an alternative?
