Patricia A. (Morse) Bailey, 89, a former long-time resident of LeRoy, PA passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Leesburg, FL on Friday, January 2, 2026.

Patricia Ann Morse was born on September 30, 1936, in Canton, she was the only child of the late Carlyle "Link" and Hazel (Hill) Morse. Patsy attended Canton area schools and proudly graduated with the Class of 1954.

On April 20, 1957, she married Richard Bailey at the East Canton United Methodist Church. Together they raised two children and shared more than 60 years of marriage, prior to Dick's passing in 2017.

In her early years, Patsy was employed as a secretary for T.C. Callahan Insurance and Accounting in Canton and then worked in the office at Bellows Valvair. She later served as a Contractor for the United States Postal Service in LeRoy, PA until her retirement in 1998.

Patsy was active in her community throughout her life. She was a former member of the Open Hand Grange in LeRoy, a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 714 in Canton, and a member of the Mid-Florida Lakes Homeowners Association in Leesburg, FL.

A talented and creative woman, Patsy enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and quilting. She had a deep love for family genealogy and took great joy in discovering her roots. She cherished her winters in Florida, especially time spent playing shuffleboard. Above all, Pat treasured her family and the moments she shared with them.

Patsy leaves behind her daughters, Pamela (Thomas Shea) Collins of Granville Summit, Susan (Steven) Scott of Leesburg, FL, granddaughters, Stephanie (John) Gardner of Lady Lake, FL, Stacey (Danny) Dorminy of Summerfield, FL, great grandchildren, Tessa Gardner, Lana Gardner and Fallon Dorminy, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Besides her parents, and husband Richard, Patsy was predeceased by her son-in-law, David Collins.

The family invites friends to call Wednesday, January 14, 2026, from 11 a.m. to 12 noon at the Pepper Funeral Home and Cremation Facility, 578 Springbrook Dr. Canton, PA.
