Patricia Ann Bannister (nee DiFrancesco), age 86, of Havertown, PA, passed away on July 14, 2024. Born, in Darby, PA, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret DiFrancesco (nee Dornheim).
A neighborhood hairdresser by profession, Patricia's talent extended far beyond the salon chair. She poured her heart and soul into everything she did, whether it was meticulously tending to her garden, creating stunning flower arrangements that seemed to dance with life, or embracing every moment spent socializing and traveling with the LaSalle Social Club and the Cheese Club of Havertown. Her passions were not just pastimes but reflections of her vibrant spirit and deep love for beauty in all its forms.
Patricia was a proud member of LaSalle Social Club, Cheese Club of Havertown, Annunciation BVM Catholic Church, and the Mother’s Club of Monsignor Bonner High School.
Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Francis G. Bannister; loving mother of Daniel Bannister (Joanne), Karen Armstrong (Michael), Thomas Bannister (Leila), James Bannister, and the late Francis Bannister (Colleen); adoring grandmother of Joshua Klineburger, Amy Bannister, Jessica Bannister, Caitlin Bannister, Tara Roethke, Daniel Bannister, Alexandra Armstrong, Michael Armstrong, Jack Armstrong, Tess Bannister, Luci Bannister, Cole Bannister, Brianna Bannister, Marissa Bannister, and Jamie Bannister; caring sister of Sandra and the late Anthony “Ish”, William, Priscilla “Babe”, and Margaret.
Relatives and friends are invited to Patricia’s Viewing 9:00-10:45 AM on Thursday, July 18th at Annunciation BVM Church, 401 Brookline Blvd., Havertown, PA 19083, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia’s name to The American Heart Association, 1617 John F. Kennedy Blvd. #700, Philadelphia, PA 19103, heart.org, would be appreciated.
