Patricia "Dawn" Wilson Barnhill, 76 years of age, passed away, Tuesday, July 17, 2025, at TriStar Horizon Medical Center, unexpectedly following a brief illness.
For the past 15 years, she was a resident of the Craigfield Community in Williamson County, Tennessee. She was surrounded by gracious fun neighbors and beautiful country living. Dawn grew up in Memphis, TN, where she worked as a Registered Nurse and devoted 35 years of her career caring for children at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Dawn was preceded in death by her husband of 23 years in 2012, Wallace Randal "Randy" Barnhill. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Wilson and and Bonita Taylor Wilson, as well as her cousin, Michelle Dacus. Those left to cherish her memory are her special friends, Dyonne "Dee Dee" and Jimmy Eick; numerous other friends, especially her coworkers at St. Jude’s, in particular, Susan and Duane Clifton; her nephews, Tim Barnhill and wife Regina, Steven Barnhill and wife, Teresa; sister-in-law, Alma Barnhill Wehby; and her beloved cousin, Theresa Keith; and numerous other nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Joey and Lisa Fisher, who were always there to lend a hand; and her beloved and devoted dog, Mylo.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Dawn's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Williamson County Animal Shelter; or plant a tree for her as she has done for so many of her family members.
