Patricia Ann "Pat" Blanchette

Patricia "Pat" Ann Blanchette, 84, of Lowell, MA, passed away on Monday, November 24, 2025, at Lowell General Hospital with her family by her side. Born in Lowell, Pat was the daughter of the late Alfred and Esther (Rynne) Drew. She graduated from Lowell High School with the Class of 1960. Pat was married to the late Raymond D. Blanchette, who passed away in December of 2006. Pat retired from Family Services of Greater Lowell, where she worked as a Home Health Aide. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 247 of Tyngsboro, MA, and a former member of St. Rita's Blessed Sodality. She also taught CCD at St. Jeanne d'Arc Church and volunteered at D'Youville Senior Care. Pat was known for her kind and caring nature and for always putting the needs of others before her own. She loved her family deeply, and above all, she cherished every moment spent with her beloved grandchildren, Ethan, Emma, Jessalyn, Abigail and Adele. Pat is survived by her son, Dr. Adam Blanchette, and his wife Karen of San Antonio, TX; her son Scott Blanchette and his wife Ashley Judge of Salem, MA; her stepson Norman Blanchette and his wife Pam of Nashua, NH; her stepdaughters Dianne Cahill of Columbia, SC, Priscilla and her husband Russell Silveria of Rockport ME, and Donna and her husband Rick Webb of Keene, NH. She is also survived by her siblings: Alfred Drew Jr. of Dunstable, MA; Alice and her husband Richard Sarrasin of Methuen, MA; and Annmarie and her husband David Niemela of Pendleton, SC; as well as her beloved five grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Florence Reeves and Janice Howie.
