Patricia Bowlin Obituary

Pat spent many dedicated years working as a custodian at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville before retiring. Known for her strong will and independent spirit, she found great joy in discovering hidden treasures at thrift stores, Goodwill, flea markets, and yard sales. Above all, Pat cherished time spent with her family, who brought her the greatest happiness throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Bowlin; her daughter, Roberta Jestus; and her brother, David Ogden.
Pat is survived by her children, Harry (Lisa McClanahan) Schuler III of Collinsville, IL, and Celeste (Curt) Schuler-Strader of Collinsville, IL; her grandchildren, Andrew Schuler and Anthony "Tony" (Amber Kube) Schuler; and her great-grandchildren, Asher and Alara Schuler.
In accordance with Pat's wishes, she will be cremated, and no services will be held.
Memorials in Pat's honor may be made to Partners for Pets and will be received at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, 2800 N. Center Street, Maryville, IL 62062.
