Patricia Ann Boyd, age 81 of Forest Lake, Minnesota passed away during the early morning hours of April 25th, 2025. She was born on June 13th, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Lorenz and Leslie (Morris) Boyd.
Pat grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from college with a bachelor’s degree. Soon after she joined the United States Navy where she served for three years. During that time, she became a Yeoman and taught swimming.
After her time in the Navy, she moved to Minnesota where she worked for the US Post office in St. Paul. She went on to work for many other great companies until she retired at the age of 69 from Tymark Corporation.
Pat learned to love Minnesota’s four seasons, especially winter (wink wink). She also became an avid Minnesota Vikings Fan and Minnesota Twins Fan.
Pat was a proud member of the Chickasaw Indian Nation and had many beautiful pieces of Native American Art.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Lorenz and Leslie and her sister Mary passed away just last February.
She is survived by her four-legged baby, Panda; her brothers Dexter (Twyla), Jim (Chris), and her lifelong friend, Goria Arsenal; many nephews, nieces and her adopted Minnesota family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 a.m., Monday, May 5, 2025 at Mattson Funeral Home, 343 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake, Minnesota. A prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Calvary Cemetery, Forest Lake, Minnesota.
