Patricia L. Boyle

Patricia L. Boyle, 70, of Lakeland, passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025, at St. Joseph's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and holding the hand of her devoted husband of 47 years.
Patti was a cherished wife, sister, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.
Born in Binghamton, NY, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Betty (Yerton) Calabrese. Patti graduated from Bishop Grimes High School and attended SUNY Canton. She dedicated much of her professional life to the medical field, working over 30 years as the Practice Manager for Dr. R. Buerkle in the specialty of Orthopedics. Patti was the heart of her family-her presence brought warmth, laughter, and a sense of home wherever she went. She had a gift for making people feel loved and welcomed. Whether she was hosting family gatherings, enjoying vacations, playing pickleball, walking at the Parkway, cooking meals, baking treats, or spending time with friends during game nights, Patti approached every moment with joy and care.
She was deeply involved in the lives of her daughters and found immeasurable happiness in being a grandmother to her beloved Cora Rose. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate nursing staff of St. Joseph's Hospital (Floor 2-4), her dedicated visiting nurse, the Oncology teams at Sloan Kettering and Upstate, as well as Dr. Augustine and the CNY Family Care team. Most of all, we are grateful for the unwavering love and strength of her husband, Dan, who was her anchor and greatest source of peace-not only in her final moments, but throughout her life.
Patti is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Boyle of Lakeland; her brother, Peter (Patty) Calabrese of Onondaga Hill; her daughters, Tara (Jeremy) Fuller of Charlotte, NC, and Kerry (Mike) Stumpf of Victor, NY; and her granddaughter, Cora Rose Fuller. She also leaves behind her cherished feline companion, Lily, along with many loving in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 25th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, August 26th at 8:45 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. at Holy Family Church, 127 Chapel Drive, Syracuse, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Patti will be laid to rest in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Camillus.
To honor Patti's life, the family invites donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital-a cause close to her heart-or to any local Humane Society or Animal Rescue organization.
