Brickey, Patricia
Patricia Lee Brickey (nee Crego), 89, of St. Louis, MO, peacefully passed away on July 21, 2022, after a long illness. Fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church.
Pat was born in 1933 in Moark, Arkansas. She attended Webster Groves High School, where she met her future husband, Glenn Brickey. The couple had four children, Steve (Patti) Brickey, of Indianapolis, Tom, and Brian Brickey, and Michelle Anderson, of St. Louis.
After raising her family, Pat worked at Landshire in the 1970's and '80's. In the 1990's, she was a beloved child care provider at Christ Memorial Day Care. Pat was very active post-retirement, enjoying exercising, socializing with friends in the Red Hat Society, VIP and widows' groups at her church, and book clubs.
She was pre-deceased by her husband and siblings Sonny (Na) Crego, Delores (Jack) Juelich, Willis (Nita) Crego, and Tee (Ron) Lloyd. She is survived by her children and grandchildren Chris Thomson, Justin, John, Mike (Trish), Danielle, and Brianna Brickey, Matthew, Cathy, and Chrissy Anderson, and Lindsay (Clayton) Idle, and will forever be missed. She was great-grandmother to Michelle and Patrick Brickey, Brooke, Brayden, and Kate Idle. Dear aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt, sister-in-law, and friend.
Visitation at St. John Paul II (formerly St. Dominic Savio), 6120 Pebble Hill at Mackenzie Rd., Saturday, August 6 at 9:00 a.m. until Memorial Mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Donations to American Diabetes Association or Pathways Hospice Foundation appreciated.
